We are filled with pride and joy as we celebrate one of our own, NMS 80 Engr. Femi Ikuponiyi Bravo Company, a dedicated leader and former President of the NMS ExBoys Association (EXBA), on the occasion of his upcoming coronation and installation as the Obadofin of Ponyan (Baale of Isimo Clan).

The coronation ceremony will take place on 14th June 2025, at Kabiyesi’s Palace, Oke-Ponyan, in Yagba East L.G.A., Kogi State, with a reception to follow at Oke Oba Hall, Isimo, Odo-Ponyan.

A Legacy of Service to the Exboys Community

During his distinguished tenure as President of the EXBA, Engr. Ikuponiyi implemented far-reaching programmes that have had a lasting impact on the Exboys family worldwide. Notable among these are:

• Formation of the Set Representative Council (SRC) — creating structured, inclusive representation across all graduating sets.
• Introduction of the Distinguished Recognition Award (DRA) — celebrating Exboys who have excelled in various fields, both within Nigeria and in the diaspora.
• Initiation of a Comprehensive Database Project — a vital step toward building a connected and resourceful Exboys network.
• Representation of Exboys UK — he graciously presented our UK awards at the NMS Passing Out Parade, strengthening our global bond.

What has always stood out about Engr. Ikuponiyi is his open-door policy, his genuine concern for fellow Exboys, and his tireless efforts to build a strong, vibrant, and united community. His selfless service and inclusive leadership have left an indelible mark on Exboys globally.
